What Data We Collect

Data Stored Locally (Browser Only)

Usage History:

We never see this data - it stays on your device

Data Sent to AI Services

When you use our AI-powered tools (paraphrasing, grammar checking, summarization, etc.), your input text is processed through:

🔒 Vercel AI Gateway (Primary Processing Layer):

  • What we use: All AI requests are routed through Vercel AI Gateway, which provides a unified, secure interface to AI models
  • What we send: Your input text and selected mode/parameters
  • Purpose: To generate AI responses (paraphrased text, summaries, grammar corrections, etc.)
  • Model used: openai/gpt-5-nano for all AI features
  • Data handling: The gateway routes requests securely to OpenAI's models. OpenAI does not train models on data submitted via API. See OpenAI's API Data Usage Policy
  • Your control: Text is only sent when you explicitly click "Process," "Paraphrase," "Check Grammar," or similar action buttons
  • No direct provider access: We do NOT connect directly to OpenAI or Anthropic APIs—all requests go through Vercel's secure gateway

Privacy Guarantee: We do not store copies of text you send to AI services. Your text is processed in real-time through Vercel AI Gateway, the result is returned to your browser, and no permanent record is kept on our servers.

Data We Do NOT Collect

  • Personal information (name, email, phone)
  • Account credentials
  • Payment information
  • IP addresses or device identifiers
  • Location data
  • Cookies for tracking or advertising

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how our tools are used:

Plausible Analytics:

  • What we collect: Anonymous page views, referrer sources, device type (desktop/mobile/tablet), country
  • What we DON'T collect: Personal information, IP addresses, cookies, user IDs
  • Purpose: Understand which tools are popular, improve user experience
  • Privacy: GDPR compliant, no personal data stored
  • Your control: Analytics are anonymous and cannot identify you

No Google Analytics - We deliberately avoid invasive tracking tools.

Your Rights and Control

  • Control AI Processing - Text is only sent to AI when you explicitly click "Process" buttons
  • Export Your Data - Export tool outputs as .txt, .md, or PDF files
  • Use Browser Privacy Mode - Nothing persists after you close the tab

  • Create user profiles or track you across sites
  • Require accounts or authentication
  • Use cookies for tracking (only essential session cookies)
