What a paragraph rewrite keeps, and what it changes

A paragraph has a job: a topic sentence that states the point, supporting sentences, and usually a closing line. The rewriter keeps that skeleton and the order of the ideas, and changes the sentence structure and vocabulary around it. Transitions such as “however” and “as a result” are kept or replaced with equivalents so the logic still flows.

Three styles

  • Natural: a neutral reword that sounds like a person wrote it.
  • Clearer: tidies the order within sentences and improves transitions; good for rough drafts.
  • Academic: a more formal register with no contractions, suitable for coursework.

For essays with citations and quotations, the essay rewriter is stricter about leaving those untouched. To make a paragraph longer, use the paragraph expander; to make it shorter, use the paraphraser’s Shorten mode.

Frequently asked questions

Will the rewritten paragraph say the same thing?

That is the goal: same points, same order, new wording. Always read the result against your original, especially numbers and technical terms.

Can I rewrite several paragraphs at once?

Yes, up to 6,000 characters. Paragraph breaks are kept.

Is a rewritten paragraph plagiarism-free?

Rewording does not remove the need to credit someone else’s ideas. Cite the source whenever the idea is not yours.

Is it free?

Yes, free and without signup.
